Tough Neighbor
Today one of my neighbors came to us and complained about my cats running outside. In short, he thinks it’s my problem to keep them out of his garden so his guinea pigs won’t get stressed out. He thinks cats should be kept in the house (sure, and guinea pigs shouldn’t?). Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t do that since my cats are used to get outside. They’ll go crazy if kept inside.
Although he was pretty calm and talked at a normal tone, he kind of threatened to buy a air pressure gun. I did not really respond to that in the assumption that he was only kidding. I hope we can come to a mutual understanding, since I don’t want to get on bad terms with my neighbors.

Outrageous behaviour! Of course you shouldn’t have to keep your cats in. What an irritating neighbour, you have my sympathy.

If your pets cause damage on somebody elses property, it’s your responsibility. You shouldn’t keep your pets in the house, but you *should* keep them off other peoples private property. If they chew up his guinea pigs, you’re to blame.
