Blog software change

After several complaints from my better half I decided to dump Serendipity and migrate to WordPress. Migrating the posts wasn’t that hard, WordPress can import rss feeds. But finding a suitable theme took me about 2 days so I hope you all like the new look :) Importing the comments seemed an impossible task though…
In my opinion the WYSIWYG editor was a little flimsy, so after searching some time I found EditorMonkey, which is a plugin that gives you a highly configurable WYSIWYG editor using TinyMCE or FCKeditor. Further more I use the Lightbox plugin. This plugin shows links towards images in a nice sort of layer over the site. (click here for an example.)
Now all is done I have to say that WordPress is a great piece of software and the fact that it’s so modular (using plugins) makes it even better.
